McKenzie’s short but rocky road back to health

The rocks in her G-I tract are moving through as hoped.

The rocks in her head … I’m still thinking about. She’s a quirky, sensitive and obsessive girl, always has been,  and so are her sisters. They’re accomplished (well, her sisters are … McKenzie is “blessed” with a slacker mom) in large part because they are so incredibly tuned in to their owners.

On the right are yesterday’s rads, with the rocks circled. On the left, you can see the rocks are moving into place to leave her in the way we’d prefer — no scope, no surgery.

Our darling primary-care veterinarian, Dr. Bill Porte, must now think he knows the pictures of McKutie’s insides as well as he knows those  of his own family!
